Spring has sprung, it’s Walktober time again! It’s time to challenge yourself: can you commit to moving for just 31 minutes every day, for 31 days during October?
You can walk, but you can also run, hop, jump, skip, bounce, swim – move any way you like for 31 minutes a day. Get your family, friends or school involved – either by joining in the challenge or by donating money to support your efforts.
We’re charging the small fee of just $15 for registrations this year. All money raised by Walktober participants will go towards delivering Bluearth programs to disadvantaged kids.
Research has shown that kids who participate in Bluearth programs reduce risk factors leading to diabetes and heart disease and improve their NAPLAN numeracy and literacy scores.
The organisation or team that raises the highest amount of funds in 2018 will receive a free Workplace Wellness Session, delivered by a Bluearth Coach.
