• Employment – Physical Activity Project Officer- Wangaratta/North East Victoria

    Are you passionate about physical activity? Want to make a difference to the next generation?

    The Bluearth Foundation is looking for a positive and self-motivated physical activity professional to work with schools and community organisations in the Wangaratta & North East Victoria region. This is a part time position (minimum 0.75 FTE).

    This exciting opportunity will commence immediately for a fixed term until December 2018 (with possibility of extension until December 2019).

    Current drivers licence and vehicle are essential, as well as a computer and internet access.

    Selection criteria:

    • Proven experience in delivering physical activity programs
    • Understanding of the schools education sector
    • Strong networking and relationship management skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Experience in program development and evaluation
    • Experience in delivering train the trainer programs
    • Commitment to an active lifestyle
    • Relevant qualification and experience in Human Movement, Sport, Health Promotion or Education

  • Coach Support Volunteer

    Do you feel good when you’re moving? Would you like to share this with primary school students?

    This role is for an assistant coach who will work with the class teacher and a Bluearth coach as they deliver a specialized activity program. While no specific experience is required an inclusive perspective and motivation for being active is an advantage. You would be trained and act according to the needs of the class.

    We work in many locations and can create flexible positions around your weekly availability and ongoing service commitments. Volunteers are responsible to State Managers and have rewards such as celebratory functions and certificated appreciation records. A key benefit of this role is the satisfaction received in guiding student development and sharing their enjoyment.
