Join the Gnome Hunt
These school holidays, we’re asking Canberran families to get outdoors and explore their local area. To make it extra fun, we’d love your help in creating a Gnome Hunt for your suburb.
To join in, you need to create a Gnome Village in your window or front garden for other kids to spot from the street. You can use our Colour-Cut-Create print out (check out our resources). Or get creative with your own design.
Invite your neighbourhood friends to come and check out your Gnome Village (using our Invitation to Kids). You can even invite them to join the fun and create a Gnome Village too!
Remember to share your Gnome Village creation and finds #CBRGnomeYourNeighbourhood We’re hoping more kids, and their families, will get to know their neighbourhood, find where the best playgrounds are, and discover where the walk/bike paths lead to.
Happy exploring!
