SKITTLE BALL

Create two goal areas 4m diameter at each end of basketball court - this is a no go zone.

Place a skittle (witches hat, cone) in the centre of each goal.

Divide the group into two teams.

Approximately 10 members of each team start in the court and the others line up on the sides.

The aim is to knock over the opposing teams skittle with a gator ball.

The ball is passed around the team to get it down the court.

You may only take 2 steps when you have the ball - the defenders must be at least one meter away from the person with the ball and may intercept.

If the ball hits the ground it goes to the other side.

When a skittle is knocked down it goes to the other side.

Team members on the outside may catch and pass balls but cannot score.

EQUIPMENT: Cones, 6 - 8 gator skin balls.

AREA REQUIRED: Large open area - basketball court, oval or similar.
